Rose Weissmann is a contemporary ceramicist who takes inspiration from nature to handbuild expressive glazed and raw sculptures, functional ceramics and decorative vessels. 

Drawing from time spent between the powerful Southern Atlantic and the vibrant Mediterranean, her works are rich in blues and greens, reflective metallics, and haptic textures from the raw earth.

Her latest collection, Ode to an Olive Grove, draws inspiration from the living sculptures of ancient trees in Mallorca’s Tramuntana mountains. Organic forms are distilled into ceramic furniture pieces that feel both ancient and entirely new.

Rose's work has found homes around the world and has been stocked at Okha and Kluk in Cape Town and Galería Begbie & Coll in Palma de Mallorca.
